The conference on Interactive Technologies and Games: Education, Health and Disability was succesfully organised by Nottingham Trent University, on 27 October 2009 and brought together academics and practitioners that showcased practice and presented how research ideas and outcomes can be mainstreamed.
The User Context Analysis has been completed, the project consortium would like to thank all people and organisations who provided their valuable feedback.
BID is a registered charity working to provide services for deaf people and to support the public sector in providing their services to include and support deaf people. These services include employment services, social work, care management, behavioural management training, Skills for Life, supporting people to live independently in their own homes, family and children’s services, interpreting, equipment provision, training in deaf awareness and British Sign Language and the Deaf Prisoners Project. BID has supported Deaf people of all ages for over 100 years – in the home, education, employment, children and families, communication, social and emotional intelligence, equipment, counselling, training etc. It is also heavily involved in making e-learning systems accessible to Deaf people.
